About Ryan Layton:

Layton is an accomplished business and technology professional with more than 20 years of experience working with C-Level executives within the Fortune 1000 space. As Founder and CEO of Secuvant, he oversees vision, strategy and execution efforts for the firm. Previously, Layton spent 14 years in Sales and Consulting at a Chicago-based Systems Integration firm, specializing in operational resiliency and data security. He built and managed a direct client portfolio producing revenues in excess of $40 Million annually. He has a proven track record utilizing his business and financial background to understand and leverage technology to meet business objectives.
About Dr. Dale Rowe:

Dale has significant experience in cybersecurity, systems architecture and education. He established the BYU Cybersecurity Research Laboratory in 2011, creating mentoring programs and courses that provided accelerated skills training.

He formed and coached the first gender-balanced team to be recognized among the top two teams at the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. He has developed programs to increase diversity in cyber teams and published over 40 peer reviewed papers on security topics.

Outside of academia, Dale has spent most of his career consulting at the technical and board-level in the aerospace, education, finance, healthcare and legal sectors. He holds a Ph.D. in Biometrics and current CISSP and GXPN certifications.

Our competence, built up over decades of experience, nudge us to fix things – so we do, to the extent we can.  We “step in.” We take control of the situation and assess the damage, seize the opportunity, or both. Interestingly, science says don’t be that leader (and avoid it with intent). About Paul Ryan:
Paul Ryan earned a degree in economics and political science from Miami University in Ohio before beginning his political career as a young congressman of 28 when first elected in 1998 to represent Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.

In Congress, Ryan served as chairman of the House Budget Committee, where he proposed a plan to balance the federal budget and pay off the national debt. Later, as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, he spearheaded efforts to simplify the tax code, protect health care choices, advance free trade and strengthen the economy.

After an unsuccessful vice presidential run with Governor Mitt Romney in 2012, Ryan continued to lead efforts in Congress to rebuild our national defense, expand domestic energy production, combat the opioid epidemic, reform our criminal justice system and promote economic opportunity.
