2021 SUMMIT QUICK FACTS
Q: Where do I register for Summit, and can I register multiple people?
A: Companies can register here. There are many categories and prices available. You are encouraged to register multiple people from your company at the same time. The more you register, the more you save! AED is providing two ways to attend Summit this year, in-person or virtually.
IMPORTANT SUMMIT REGISTRATION NOTE: Attendees can choose to change their in-person registration to a virtual registration at any time. If you wish to do so, please email help@aednet.org to inform the AED team.
Q: What are the 2021 Summit dates, and where is it located?
A: AED Summit will take place May 24 – 26, 2021. This year’s Summit is in Las Vegas, Nevada, at The Mirage Hotel.
Q: What day should I arrive at Summit?
A: AED recommends arriving at Summit on Sunday, May 23, and departing on Thursday, May 27. Programming begins on Monday and will conclude on Wednesday evening with our keynote presentation, A Dinner and Conversation with Paul Ryan hosted by DLL. Summit Note: If you are planning on attending Summit virtually, links to access the sessions and programming will be provided to you prior to the event.
Q: Is there a dedicated room block for Summit attendees?
A: Yes, there are two dedicated room blocks for attendees and CONDEX exhibitors.

Q: What is the dress code for Summit?
During the day, a business professional dress code is implemented. Our evening receptions and Gala offer a more relaxed environment, and a business casual dress code is recommended.
Q: Is there an additional cost for the keynote presentation?
A: All keynote/featured presentations are included with your Summit registration (that is, general sessions, featured presentations and A Dinner and Conversation with Paul Ryan hosted by DLL). Summit Safety Protocol: All attendees are required to wear a mask at all times unless they are eating or drinking.
Q: Where can I access the Summit schedule?
A: The Summit schedule can be accessed here or on the 2021 Summit Mobile App. Search for “AED Summit” to download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Q: Can my spouse attend Summit events?
A: Your spouse can attend Summit activities with the purchase of a spousal pass. This will allow them access to everything at Summit except off-site outings and additional purchased events like The AED Foundation Fundraising Gala. Summit Safety Protocol: All attendees are required to wear a mask at all times unless they are eating or drinking.
Q: What comes with my registration?
A: Your Summit registration includes access to general sessions, A Dinner and Conversation with Paul Ryan hosted by DLL, education sessions, access to the CONDEX floor, receptions, breakfast, lunch, free WiFi and hospitality suites. Summit Safety Protocol: All attendees are required to wear a mask at all times unless they are eating or drinking.
Q: How do I collect my Summit badge?
A: New this year, Summit will have contactless registration. In-person attendees will be required to complete a daily health screening, including having their temperature taken. They will then head to our touch screen monitors and search for their name, and their badge will be printed immediately. Virtual attendees are not require to have a badge. Virtual attendees will receive a unique link assigned to their registration that will provide access to the presentations and education sessions available at the live event in Las Vegas. Links will be distributed prior to the event taking place May 24-26, 2021.
Q: Will social distancing and masks be required?
A: Yes, masks are mandatory and will be required at all times except when eating or drinking. This means a mask must be worn in general sessions, education sessions, on the CONDEX floor, while walking around the hotel, in receptions and so on. There will be dedicated doors for entering and leaving rooms, and all chairs will be placed six feet apart from each other. Q: What is The AED Foundation Fundraising Gala?
A: The AED Foundation Fundraising Gala is an event specifically for generous supporters of The AED Foundation. It is the perfect time to bring your family, friends and partners together. Please join us for a spectacular evening, including food, an open bar, a live auction presented by Ritchie Bros. and AEDF, and entertainment. We will also be honoring an exceptional member with the Lester Heath Award for their commitment of support for The AED Foundation. The cost of this event is not included with your Summit registration and will require a ticket. You can buy tickets at bit.ly/2021aedfgala. Q: What is CONDEX?
A: The CONDEX show floor is the ideal place for dealers to find everything they need to support and grow their business. Exhibitors include various technology companies, insurance and finance companies, and emerging manufacturers, often new to the North American market, looking for equipment distribution partners. Q: Do I have to sign up for the breakout sessions?
A: Breakout sessions are included with your Summit registration. Please note that these sessions do fill up, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to preview and save the education sessions you are interested in on the 2021 Summit Mobile app. Search for “AED Summit” to download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
