AED Commends House Passage of Permanent Year-Round E15 Legislation, Urges Senate to Send Bill to President’s Desk

On May 13, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2025, which allows for the sale of year-round E15, a top priority for Associated Equipment Distributors (AED).

“On behalf of the companies that supply and service agriculture machinery, AED commends the House of Representatives on passage of the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2025,” said AED’s President & CEO Brian P. McGuire. “This critical legislation gives retailers the choice to sell year-round E15 blended fuel, which is an essential tool along with other biofuels, to increase markets for crops, providing certainty to the agriculture sector while lowering costs for consumers and families. AED calls on the Senate to expeditiously take up and pass this legislation so the president can sign it into law.”

AED continues to make expanding the use of other agriculture-based biofuels such as biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel a top priority. AED will work with the Senate to pass the farm bill and year-round E15 and continue to support other initiatives that will assist the agriculture sector such as opening new international markets to strengthen export opportunities for American farmers, ranchers, and producers.
