AED’s McGuire Urges Immediate Action On Year-Round E15, Calls Further Delay “Unacceptable”
On April 24, Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) President & CEO Brian P. McGuire, issued the following statement urging the adoption of a bipartisan amendment allowing the year-round sale of E15 fuel to H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 (known as the Farm Bill), which is expected to be considered by the House of Representatives next week.
“AED commends the E15 Rural Domestic Energy Council for introducing a bipartisan resolution that allows year-round E15 and the equipment industry strongly urges its adoption during consideration of the House farm bill,” said AED’s President & CEO Brian P. McGuire. “E15 is an essential tool, along with other biofuels, to increase markets for crops and provide certainty to the agriculture sector while lowering costs for consumers and families. Further delay in enacting this commonsense policy, which considers the interests of all stakeholders, is unacceptable.”
AED continues to make expanding the use of agriculture-based biofuels a top priority along with other initiatives that will assist the agriculture sector such as passing a farm bill and opening new international markets to strengthen export opportunities for American farmers, ranchers, and producers.
